Two Firm Attorneys Earn Florida Bar Certification

ORLANDO, Fla.; August 7, 2009 — The Florida-based law firm Broad and Cassel is pleased to announce that West Palm Beach Partner Jeremy Slusher and Orlando Associate Jeremy T. Springhart have become Florida Bar Certified in Business Litigation and Construction Law, respectively. To achieve certification, their competency and experience within their areas of expertise were tested, along with their professionalism and ethics in practice.

Slusher and Springhart join nearly 20 fellow Florida Bar Certified colleagues at Broad and Cassel.

Slusher is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, Construction Law and Litigation, Tort Law and Appellate Practice Groups. He concentrates in the areas of commercial litigation, real estate related litigation, landlord/tenant litigation, non-compete litigation and construction litigation. Slusher also has experience in general personal injury litigation and medical malpractice defense. He received his bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Slusher is currently involved with the University of Florida Law Alumni Council and the Palm Beach County Bar Association’s Professionalism Committee. He also serves as an ambassador to the Wellington Chamber of Commerce.

Springhart serves in the firm’s Construction Law and Litigation and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups. For the past several years, he has concentrated his practice in the area of construction litigation, including delay damage and defect claims, professional negligence claims, claims for unforeseen site conditions and payment disputes. Springhart is active in various professional associations, including the Orange County Bar Association and First American Inns of Court – Central Florida. He graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and received his Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C.
