Lawyers for Civil Justice Appoints Attorney Ben Robinson to Discovery Committee

ORLANDO, Fla. [May 9, 2016] — Statewide law firm Broad and Cassel today announced Orlando Attorney Benjamin Robinson has been appointed to the discovery committee for Lawyers for Civil Justice (LCJ).

LCJ forges and strengthens alliances among its members to find support in reestablishing and maintaining balance in the civil justice system. Since 2010, LCJ has advocated for amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure governing discovery and providing members with an amplified voice in civil justice reform.

An associate in the Orlando office, Robinson is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation and White Collar Defense and Compliance Practice Groups. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, white-collar crime, and antitrust investigations. He is involved in the representation of corporations and corporate officers implicated in private litigation as well as civil and criminal matters before the United States Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other federal and state agencies.

Robinson holds a bachelor’s degree from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Ind., where he was a scholar athlete, and received his juris doctor from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law in Gainesville, where he served as an articles editor for the Florida Law Review.

In addition to Robinson’s participation with LCJ, he also serves as an active member of DRI-The Voice of the Defense Bar and is an appointed board member for National Association of Wabash Men.
