Mr. Jennings B. Cooksey, IV is an Associate in the Orlando office of Broad and Cassel. He is a member of the Firm's Affordable Housing and Tax Credit Practice Group.
An Eagle Scout with a history of community and civic engagement, Mr. Cooksey is an active member of various professional and community organizations.
Mr. Cooksey's practice focuses on affordable housing and tax matters in the representation of multi-family housing developers.
Prior to joining Broad and Cassel, Mr. Cooksey served as a law clerk for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He also has experience serving as a law clerk and research assistant for multiple organizations.
A Distinguished Graduate of the Army ROTC, Mr. Cooksey served as First Lieutenant for the United States Army. He completed his military career concurrently with law school serving as the S-4 for the 1186th Deployment Distribution Support Battalion in the Army Reserves. He was consistently ranked as a top-performing officer, with previous positions on active duty and in the National Guard including Company Commander, Executive Officer, and Platoon Leader.
