Kristina Maranges

Ms. Kristina Maranges is an Associate in the Miami office of Broad and Cassel. She is a member of the Firm's Commercial Litigation and Health Law Practice Groups.

  • Ms. Maranges advises facilities on operations matters, including but not limited to medical staff management, disruptive physician matters, credentialing matters and interpretation of bylaws as applied to daily operations within the facilities. She also litigates peer review matters arising between physicians/physician owned entities and facilities.
  • Ms. Maranges has engaged in complex litigation in both federal and state courts for such matters as Medicare/Medicaid fraud; mortgage, bank, and wire fraud; tax evasion; money laundering; and RICO conspiracy.
  • She also has experience in civil litigation related to civil theft, fraud, breach of contract and breaches of fiduciary duty.
  • While in law school, Ms. Maranges served as an articles editor for the St. Thomas Law Review and received several accolades for her advocacy skills. She also is a published author, penning the article titled, "The American Government: Cuba's Best Marketer for its COHIBA," 19 St. Thomas L. Rev. 509 (Spring, 2007).
Ms. Maranges is an active member of various professional and community organizations, most notably the Cuban American Bar Association.
