Jason Lambert Named President of Clearwater Bar Young Lawyers Division

TAMPA, Fla. (May 17, 2017) – Statewide law firm Broad and Cassel today announced Tampa Attorney Jason Lambert has been named president of the Clearwater Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division (YLD).

Lambert steps into the new role after nearly four years in various positions on the board for the YLD. The division advances the profession by offering professional development opportunities for attorneys 36 years of age and younger or in practice five years or less. The board also advises the association on policies and programs of benefit to this target group.

An associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group, Lambert is an experienced civil trial attorney who focuses his practice on representing businesses in commercial and complex litigation, with an emphasis on the construction and real estate industries. He also advises contractors and subcontractors on business and contracting related issues.

A successful entrepreneur, Lambert started law school only after he founded two companies, one of which is still in operation today. The company was designed to help subcontractors navigate and comply with Florida's construction lien laws.

Lambert is active in a variety of professional organizations, including serving as 6th Circuit Representative for The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Board of Governors and a member of the Federal Bar Association – Tampa Bay Chapter. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Stetson University in DeLand and earned his juris doctor from Stetson’s College of Law in Gulfport, where he was selected for the Moot Court Board and won numerous awards.
